Viola Fairweather preaching
As we approach Halloween, many of us are drawn to thinking about death and, as a result, using our energy to engage with life in a more meaningful way. With technology, we are instantly made aware of the complications of our times; and we can wonder if there are things we could do to energize our capacity to have a peaceful impact on life. At our core we want to connect – to have a sense of belonging and peace. Today Vi will attempt to give us techniques prepared by Barbara Moore for clearing, containing and cultivating our energy so that we are personally more at peace. Special music will be provided by Patty and Barry Simon.
Viola Fairweather first came to this church in 1969 when she came to Middleboro to teach. Over the years she has been on most committees. She was on staff as an interim DRE and led many workshops and groups. She has done the Hospice Training, worked with dying patients and studied with Bernie Siegel. She is currently co-leading the course, Building Your Own Theology.
