Welcome to the world of Virtuality!
We will be using Zoom teleconferencing. You can join via a computer, tablet or smartphone for visual teleconference, or those with the least technical know-how or equipment can simply dial in using their phones and listen in like an older-style conference call.

If you’ve never used Zoom before, here’s a tutorial:
Katie Allen and others are available to coach you, so just let Katie or Rev. Sarah know.
Once you get the hang of it, here’s what we’ll be doing to get ready on Sunday morning:
-Join the meeting about five to ten minutes early (10:20 – 10:25) to do sound and video checks with your device.
-Remember, you’re on video, and everyone will be able to see you!
-Look to the microphone icon on the toolbar of your screen (for a lot of us it will be bottom left) and click on it to mute yourself.
We’ll start with a display of the program, the chalice lighting and some introductory tech support.
Mark Cook will tell us about the Matthew Mission, our Cash-in-the-Plate recipient for the month of March.
We’ll (hopefully) offer hymn singing led by Susan Hotchkiss, but no musical anthem. In future services, we’ll work out how to offer recordings.
Our Message for All Ages will be read aloud by Kelly Lownds.
Joys and Sorrows will be managed with the chat window, and one of the moderators will read them aloud for those joining us by telephone.
Our Meditation, Reading and Sermon will be offered by Rev. Danielle Di Bona – our cooperative and creative guest preacher for the morning.
The recipient for our Cash-in-the-Plate Offering for the month of March is the Matthew Mission at First Parish Church, Taunton. We ask that you hold off donating this week until we have a method of collecting and delivering your contribution.
We’ll end as we usually do with our benedictions.
Thank you for your forbearance during this time. Hopefully, we’ll get back to seeing each other soon. In the meantime, VIRTUAL ELBOW BUMP! And take care of yourselves.
