About The First Unitarian Universalist Society
of Middleborough
The First Unitarian Universalist Society of Middleborough was gathered in 1889
and stands today, as it did then, for freedom of religious belief and for the ability of congregations
and individuals to make a difference in the world.
Membership in the church is open to all who desire to support its programs and purposes.
Any member of the Society will be glad to answer your questions about
Unitarian Universalism as practiced in this church. Membership is accomplished by simply signing
the Membership Roll in the presence of the Minister or the President of the Parish Committee.
We are pleased to welcome you and hope you will come again often.
You are invited to remain for the
social hour downstairs following the morning service. Please sign our Guest Book located on the table
in the Parlor, and place an asterisk next to your name if you wish to receive our monthly newsletter.
Restrooms are located downstairs. Please note that our worship services are videotaped and broadcast
over local cable television on channel 9, usually at 4:00 p.m., on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Joys and Sorrows and other personal moments are excluded.
